色でチーム分けができる帽子

みなさんは、学校で運動する時、帽子をかぶりますか。

日本の小学生は、体育の授業の時、「赤白帽子」をかぶります。「紅白帽子」とも言います。

赤白帽子は、リバーシブルの帽子です。赤い帽子にも白い帽子にもなります。二つのチームに分かれる時、一つのチームが赤にしてかぶり、もう一つのチームが白にしてかぶると、二つのチームを見分けやすいです。授業の途中でチームが変わる場合は、その時かぶっている帽子を裏返してまたかぶるだけなので、便利です。

赤白帽子には、ゴムひもがついています。運動しても帽子がぬげないように、ゴムひもをあごの下にかけます。最近は、UVカットの赤白帽子やメッシュ生地の赤白帽子も売られています。

Do you wear a cap while doing exercise at school? Elementary school students in Japan wear “Akashiro-boushi”, red and white caps, in P.E. classes. We also call them “Kouhaku boushi”.

Akashiro-boushi is a reversible cap. It turns to a red cap, and also turns to a white cap. When the students are divided into two teams, members of a team put on the caps turned into red and those of another team put on the caps turned into white, so we can distinguish these two teams easily. What students do in the case of being transferred to another team is turn the caps that they are wearing inside out and put on their caps again, so Akashiro-boushi is a convenient item.

Akashiro-boushi has a rubber band. The students hang the rubber bands under their chins to prevent their caps from coming off even if they exercise. Nowadays, Akashiro-boushi with UV protection and ones made of mesh fabric are also on sale.
