Hi everyone, it is Min here.
I have been redesigning my kitchen and found myself asking this question a lot:
“Does this come in another color?”
The photo below is of the different timber flooring I get to choose from.
If you know me well, you will know that I take forever to make a decision, even with just two options.
So getting me to decide between a million options is just unthinkable.
But I am slowly getting used to it!
I had to pick everything from handles, cabinets to kitchen appliances!
So back to the one question I have been recycling a hundred times daily.
“Does this come in another color?”
The structure of this sentence is super handy and can be altered to be used in a variety of settings.
For example, food!
As you can tell, I have been frequently visiting IKEA and thus settling my meals there too. Who can resist IKEA meatballs right?
By tweaking the useful question in this situation, you could ask:
“Does this come in a larger/smaller size?”
or
“Does this come with drinks?”
Speaking of drinks, a warm cup of coffee is what I needed after all that kitchen planning.
It is great that IKEA offers bottomless coffee!
Anyway, I hope you have found today’s useful question…um…useful (I should really think of another adjective apart from “useful” here to avoid sounding repetitive, but I guess it is fine once in awhile!
