今回は、世界の姿を少しでも理解するという趣旨の内容でお届けします。
あまりにも有名なのですでにご存じの方も多いと思いますが、
「１００人の村(A village of 100 people)」です。
世界を１００人の村に縮小して、
その村の様子をのぞいてみたら世界の姿が、
少し理解しやすいというものです。
作者不詳ですが、当時世界中で転送され続け、
一気に世の中に広がったチェーンメールの一種です。
ただ内容があまりにも秀逸だったため、
世界各国で出版されて、広く読まれています。
内容を巡っては賛否両論があり、いろんな意見がありますが、
自分なりの解釈をすればよいと思います。
こうやって世界の姿（本当かどうかは自分の目で確認してみてください）を知ると、
日本にすむ私たちは、それなりにそれぞれ悩みがあり、
不幸や不遇を感じることもありますが、
それでも、やっぱり幸せなのだと私は思いました。

When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective,
the need for both acceptance, understanding and
education becomes glaringly apparent.
The following is also something to ponder…
If you woke up this morning with more health than
illness…you are more blessed than the millions who will
not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the
loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the
pangs of starvation …you are ahead of 500 million
people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of
harassment, arrest, torture, or death … you are more
blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare
change in a dish someplace … you are among the top 8 percent of the world’s wealthy.
If you your parents are still alive and still married …
you are very rare, even in the United States and Canada.
If you can read this message, you just received a double
blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and
furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion
people in the world that cannot read at all.
Someone once said ; What goes around comes around.
Sooooo……..
Work like you don’t need the money.
Love like you’ve never been hurt.
Dance like nobody’s watching.
