Hi guys! This is Beth! As you can probably tell by the title, our theme today is “clothing”! Hey, but wait…..”wear” isn’t just for clothes! You should see how many ways we can use this super word!
Wear!その① 頭、手、足
日本語のかぶる、はめる、はく、英語ではすべて”wear”で行きます！ Let’s look at some examples:
1) I wear a hat when I go out in the sun!
2)It’s snowing! Don’t forget to wear your gloves/mittens!
3)In America, we usually wear our shoes into the house!
4)There are some people who wear socks even when wearing sandals!
Wear!その② 服装
今度は一般的に日本語で着る服やはく服。。。これらもof course, “wear”です！ Take a look at these:
1)I’m going to wear jeans and a T-shirt to the picnic!
2)Most of us wear a coat when it gets cold!
3)She wears an apron when she cooks!
4)His company requires male workers to wear a suit and tie to work!
Wear!その③ その他（びっくり！）
さて、メイクやマニキュア、腕時計やネックレス！これらは？ ピンポン！！もちろん”wear”を使います！ Are you surprised? Yes? No? A little? Take a look:
1)I only wear make up when I go out!
2)She was wearing bright red nail polish!
3)He doesn’t like wearing a watch while working out!
4)Are you going to wear the pearl necklace he gave you?

最後に、”wear”を使うということは”put on” and “take off”も同じような感じで使います。
