How do I apply ?

Please submit a copy of your resume to hr@fruitfulenglish.com, and someone from our HR Department will get in touch with you for trial assignments and conduct an interview via Skype or Zoom. Please expect an email from us 5-7 business days after you have completed the interview for your assessment results.

How long is the application process ?

Once we have reviewed your trial assignments and resume, we will schedule an interview with you. We will contact you within 5-7 business days to inform you of our application results, and if you pass, we will then proceed with your training.

I am currently working with another ESL company. Can I still apply ?

Of course! We welcome part-time and full-time applicants from different ESL companies, even those who have no prior experience teaching Japanese students.

Can I apply even if I’m not based in Japan ?

Yes! We currently have instructors located all over the world, such as the United States, New Zealand, the Philippines, Canada and the Netherlands, and we very much welcome applicants located in other countries as well.

Do I need to have any teaching experience to apply ?

No. However, we do require our instructors to either have a background in teaching or to have at least 2-3 years corporate experience.

Do I have to work on a fixed schedule or in an office ?

No. We offer a flexible schedule to all our instructors, and since all our work is done online, you may opt to work at your location of choice.

It’s been 5 days since I have completed my trial assignments and I haven’t received any feedback. Who can I contact?
